Inguinal Hernia Repair, Initial (reducible), Open, Bilateral

Inguinal Hernia Repair, Initial (reducible), Open, Bilateral in Kansas

$6,807 - $13,889
?

An inguinal open hernia repair (bilateral) involves making a single long incision in the groin. If the hernia is bulging out of the abdominal wall (a direct hernia), the bulge is pushed back into place. If the hernia is going down the inguinal canal (indirect), the hernia sac is either pushed back or tied off and removed. Bilateral hernias can be repaired through traditional open surgery using two incisions, or in a single laparoscopic procedure.
