Ruth Frank, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist who runs the Eating Disorder Program at Psychiatric Associates of Pennsylvania. Dr. Frank practices on the Main Line of Philadelphia in Narberth PA. She specializes in adolescents and young adults but also works with adults as well. Dr. Frank utilizes a combination of medication management and therapy in the treatment and management of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma/PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), ADHD, and personality disorders.
Dr. Frank received her undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester, a Masters in Education at SUNY-Albany, and her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She practiced as a pediatrician for 14 years before completing her Psychiatry Residency at Thomas Jefferson University. With her distinguished background as a Pediatrician turned Psychiatrist, Dr. Frank brings a unique understanding of the complex bio-psycho-social factors affecting adolescents and young adults, as well as their families.
