Cardioversion

$1,196 - $2,081
?

Cardioversion is a procedure that uses either medication or electrical shocks through electrodes to correct irregular heartbeats (also called arrhythmias) such as atrial fibrillation (AFib). Electric cardioversion is different from defibrillation, which is an emergency procedure that uses higher-powered shocks. Electric cardioversion is performed under sedation and can instantly restore a normal heart rhythm, while chemical cardioversion with medication may take days.

Physician order required.
